About

A small team with founder-grade ownership.

Darse is a product engineering team based in Nepal, working with SaaS companies and funded startups around the world.

We stay small on purpose. Eight engineers, led by the people who do the work — so nothing gets lost in translation between what was promised and what ships.

Darse started the way most good agencies do: a founder who kept getting asked to fix software that other teams had built and walked away from. The pattern was always the same — the code wasn’t the real problem. The missing piece was someone who cared whether the product actually worked for the business behind it.

So that became the bar. We take on fewer clients than we could, we stay on most of them for years, and we measure ourselves on what’s still running — 100+ projects shipped, systems serving over a million users, and uptime numbers we’re comfortable putting on the homepage.

What we hold ourselves to.

Founder-led execution

You talk to the people writing the code. No account managers, no offshore relay teams, no game of telephone between the pitch and the production branch.

Product thinking, not just delivery

Every engagement starts with the business question underneath the technical request. We challenge scope when it helps the outcome.

Built to stay

Most of our engagements turn into multi-year partnerships. We don't disappear after launch — we stay, learn the product, and compound.

Skin in the game

We build and operate our own products alongside client work, with the same infrastructure bills and the same 3 a.m. alerts. Our recommendations aren't theoretical.

How we work.

We work the way good in-house teams work: in your Slack, in your standups, with opinions about the roadmap and the humility to be overruled. Engagements are month-to-month because we’d rather earn the renewal than enforce the contract.

We’re based in Lalitpur (Patan) and used to working across US and European time zones, with guaranteed working-hours overlap and async habits that keep you unblocked overnight.
